The Artisans

Born in Naples, Italy, Massimo moved to the United States in 2001, landing in downtown Brooklyn. He began his journey as Executive Chef at Sal’s Pizzeria and Ristorante. After four years, he opened his first restaurant in Millburn, New Jersey—La Strada Restaurant—where he brought the community real, authentic Italian dishes and gourmet pizzas. In 2020, he expanded his passion with a second location in Metuchen, New Jersey: Che Pizza.
